The coarse grain should be cooperated with refined grain. It is not healthy to take only one kind. Though taking coarse grain can reduce blood sugar, the refined grain should not be ignored. In per day’s diet, both grains should be included.
If kidney patients appear lipid disorders or constipation, lack of iron and calcium at the same time, suffering from digestion problem or low immunity, they could increase the intake of coarse grain. In addition, rice, flour with coarse grain could increase the utilization factor.
People with kidney disease can eat about 50 grams of whole grains a day, as normal people do. For example, they can replace 1/4 of each meal with whole grains.
Coarse and refine collocation, rich nutrition, can be more beneficial to health, have the effect of complementary nutrition element thereby.
Meanwhile, the combination of meat and vegetable should be considered, and a certain amount of dietary protein (over half of which is high quality protein) and about 500 grams of vegetables should be controlled according to the requirements of doctors.
